Whats your opinion of the new site?

Can't wait to see if my area gets posts. I will have to remember this when I have my annual spring sale. I will promote the site. Thanks

Hi Oliveoyl, congratulations on being he first posting member! A monumental moment in the fledgling history of the site for sure. What is your area? I will check it out.

The closest large city to me is Austin,Tx. It is the state capitol and I know there is some serious garage salers in the area.

I think your website has potential. I'd like to see more topic area/threads here for members to post and share stories, buys, sales, on this website.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback, it means a lot. Since the forum is still fairly new, I thought having less topics would be better so that it didn't seem so barren at first. Once it gets going (which its really picked up as of late), Ill for sure be adding more topics. Thanks!

Schmoopy, the site was redesigned about a year ago (about the age of this thread!) and we are planning another redesign soon and a name change. The new name is going to be "Garage Sale Season". The reason for the change is that people will associate us instantly with Garage Sales whereas Weekend Treasure, while we like it, doesn't benefit from the instant recognition. Also we are sponsoring the worlds longest yard sale under the new name. I'm aiming for end of March to launch. Ill be working hard the next few months!

Sounds cool and I like the name. That's sure to get attention!!!

One thing I REALLY like about your site compared to many others is that you can post quickly without waiting for the page to load for your reply. Editing is very fast as well. That's a bonus in my book!
