Hey Chris,
Welcome to the board! Good to have you on here. So have you heard/been impacted by the new ebay fees? I hear they are charging something like 8% for items that sell. Hits hard for the garage sale ebay seller.

Yeah, of course, I've heard I don't sell alot but maybe an average of $200. a month. I will probably be alot more selective in what I buy for resale and then take more to consignment shops, like I have in the past. Time will tell. I can say I won't sell on ebay anymore but I know better. It's just in my blood, I think. I used to own a consignment shop myself for 4 years.

Interesting, when did you have your consignment shop? I bet that gave you a ton of good insight on what to look for at garage sales!

I have some size 11 snow boots, new in box childrens bicycle helmet, 12" Santa blow mold (wouldnt sell even before xmas) and a new briefcase. Hoping to hit the jackpot at this weekend's yard sales.

RE: Just checking in!
Mike, I had my shop in Michigan, when I lived up there from Oct. 1996 to Dec. 2000. We closed when my husband had health issues and he was off work for like 3 or 4 months. The shop wasn't a good steady supporting income at that time. I was making more every year but it still wasn't enough to support so I closed it to get a better job and then hubby got better and went back to work like a couple weeks before we closed.
